"A
Celebration of the Family" is coming to the Sacramento City College
Auditorium, November 17, 2001 beginning at 11:00 am. This Celebration will host
a variety of events for the family including workshops, nationally known
speakers, and entertainment from both local and visiting musical groups.
The celebration is co-sponsored by United Families International of Northern
California, The Catholic Diocese of Sacramento, Campaign for California Families
and The World Congress of Families. The goal of these groups is to bring
families of various beliefs and backgrounds together for a day of reflection on,
and celebration of, the importance of family.
Invited speakers scheduled to date include:
